You all know that I take my Girlfriendship with you all seriously. Some of you joke and say that we're friends in your head, and I'm like, nah sis, we're friends for real. When we going to brunch? lol
I wanted to take a moment to shine some light on some of our Girlfriends, so we can get to know them better. So, here we are, with our Girlfriends Spotlight. Meet a couple of our Girlfriends, Jeanine and Charlene, below.
Jeanine
Tell us a little bit about you and who you are.
I’m Jeanine, I’m 46, I’m originally from Brooklyn, NY but I now live in the ‘DMV’ area. I’m a supervisor in a Patent and Trademark Firm! I love books, brunches and vacations! I consider myself a whole mood! I am who I say I am - never switch up! I prefer tees and sneakers over dresses and heels but when I gotta get dolled up, it’s never a problem! Family is everything!!!
What are 2-3 words your friends would use to describe you?
Loyal, Dope, A vibe!
What's one song you can have on repeat over and over again?

Target, you can put a cute little something together in Target!

A throw, a book and coffee!

Single mom of one son, police/fire/ems dispatcher and full-time doctorate student
What are 2-3 words your friends would use to describe you?
Easy-going, fun, crazy (sense of humor)
What's one song you can have on repeat over and over again?
Any New Orleans bounce music
Walmart or Target? Why?
Walmart, because I can run in any kind of way!

Describe your perfect day of relaxation?
Wake up to a big cup of coffee, relax and listen to 70s or 80s r&b music or reading a book from my favorite author

Tell us a little bit about you and who you are.
I'm a wife and mom (almost empty-nester). I was an educator for 16 years before quitting to become a full-time entrepreneur. I absolutely LOVE to travel, especially internationally. The beach is my absolute favorite place in the world. It's my happy place. I also LOVE me some God and Jesus, but my mouth is reckless. They know my heart. lmbo
What are 2-3 words your friends would use to describe you?
Loyal, caring, and momma of the crew.

Turn up mode: Knuck if You Buck by Crime Mob
Walmart or Target? Why?
Walmart because Target is too damn high! Sometimes I'm willing to sit in the long lines for the cheaper prices. But then, sometimes I'm willing to pay more for a better environment.
Heels or Sneakers?
Sneakers. All. Day. Long. I hate heels. I don't see the purpose of making my feet hurt unnecessarily. I'll do it when I have to, but imma have an attitude.
Describe your perfect day of relaxation?
Chilling on the beach, in a beach chair, with an umbrella and a drink. If I can't have the beach, going to the movies or binge watching Netflix or Hulu will do.
