Tell us a little bit about you and who you are.
Hey!! My name is Courtney, and I am approaching my 50th birthday in May! I am a true Gemini to the core…some may say I have a split personality for sure - there’s the side that holds on to her roots (a native of Newport News, VA) and the side that grew up in the Corporate world where I have led organizational communications and change management! I am an Alumnus of the Hampton University! I am married to my best friend Chip & we have 3 children, Taylor (31), Tariq (22), & Jaidah (18). We recently relocated back to Hampton Roads after being in the DMV for 21 years!
What are 2-3 words your friends would use to describe you?
Thoughtful, creative, self-confident

What movie can you watch over and over again?
The Color Purple!!!!
Walmart or Target? Why?
Dang - this one always get me stuck! I like both for different reasons - Walmart for something quick & Target for anything cute!

Sneakers!
Who is your fashion inspiration?
There’s not one person I am inspired by when it comes to fashion. I usually do what I want - I guess I am inspired by styles that don’t put you in a box. If it’s trendy and cute, I’m with it!
Favorite place you've vacationed?
Cabo San Lucas
Describe your perfect day of relaxation?
A perfect day of relaxation for me starts with a bomb breakfast, coffee & a mimosa (or 2, LOL), a nice hot shower, followed by some comfy bottoms and a tee, feet up - if I am home, on the couch in front of the TV or if I’m on vacation - on the beach!

Tell us a little bit about you and who you are.
I am an entrepreneur, a sister, a daughter, former English teacher and now dean in a middle school. I love working out and writing. Graphic t-shirt’s are an obsession for me, because I believe silence is also sound; graphic shirts make that statement come to life. They express your inner thoughts, allowing silence to speak loudly.
What are 2-3 words your friends would use to describe you?
My friends would describe me as creative, loyal and candid.
What's one song you can have on repeat over and over again?
One song I can and have had on repeat is “I’m Dope” by Tobe Nwigwe because at the end of the day … well… let’s face it “I’m dope!"
What movie can you watch over and over again?
One movie I can watch several times in a row is Enemy of The State . I see something ELSE relatable to our current climate every time!
Walmart or Target? Why?
It’s always going to be Walmart for me! They have EVERYTHING and it’s always IN STOCK!
Heels or Sneakers?
I KEEP MY SNEAKERS ON ALWAYS!!! Gotta stay ready so you don’t have to get ready. I mean REALLY… I’m not physically built to run in heels 👠.
Who is your fashion inspiration?
Lupita Nyongo and Angela Bassett are both so dope! Their fashion sense is IMPECCABLE!
Favorite place you've vacationed?
The architecture in England is AMAZING and breathtaking. I mean… they could adjust the currency exchange but hey… I’ll visit again .
Describe your perfect day of relaxation?
A spa day, a glass of wine with dinner and my significant other rubbing my feet while we cuddle and watch a movie as I fall asleep in his arms… is a great day of relaxation.

Lounging around the house Doing Completely nothing, except read, eat, watch movies and play on the Oculus.
